Dr. Nathaniel L. Screven, Sr.
Founder
He was a scholar of the Bible. Also, he was kind, approachable, and patient. In every task he took on, Dr. Screven make sure he catered to the needs and concerns of each student. We couldn’t be more thrilled to remember and commemorate this great man of God.

Mother Screven bought joy and energy into Screven Memorial, every single day. Concerned with more than just academics, our
co-founder made sure each student is exposed to both the spiritual and academic experiences.
Dr. Pamela Screven Lighten
President
Dr. Screven Lighten's abilities and talents are constantly moving Screven Memorial Bible Institute to compete academically and spiritually with other top institutions across America. Her efforts and dedication are continuing the legacy of her parents, Dr. Nathaniel L. Screven and Mother Jean Wakefield Screven.
Dr. Lois Askew
Dean of Academic Affairs
Dr. Askew's combination of talent and expertise makes her a valuable asset to Screven Memorial Bible Institute. As Dean of Academic Affairs, she works hard to really enhance each student’s education and prepare them for the future. Dr. Askew's experience makes her a perfect fit for our school.
